Marc and Las Vegas Sun columnist John Katsilometes waited over a month to battle it out! How, you ask? In modified, FAA approved stunt planes with Sky Combat Ace!
They geared up, received their briefing, and jetted down the runway for a no holds barred dogfight!
The fighter pilots (who flew the planes, some of the time) even did some high-risk aerobatics for the guys and they loved every minute of it.

Jan Rouven, master illusionist and magician, recently came to Marc’s show and had an astonishing time.
Rouven has been a master at his craft all over Europe, working with some of Europe’s biggest performers and on the biggest stages.
You can now see his show at the Fame Theater inside of Clarion Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
In celebration of 1,000 comedy hypnosis shows in Las Vegas, Marc was gifted this incredible light bulb taken directly from the “Welcome to Las Vegas Sign,” to commemorate the milestone.
The world famous “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign” has been greeting visitors to this wonderful city since 1959. It was built as a way to increase the city’s visibility to weekend visitors, coming to play, gamble and party in the desert.
The light bulbs are changed periodically by Young Electric Sign Company and then taken to a warehouse where are they are packaged and sold.
We would just like to say "Thank You" to all of our fans for the amazing amount of Happy Birthday wishes Marc received on his birthday. Even better, thanks to everyone who participated in Marc's once-a-year birthday blowout sale online! We had a record breaking amount of orders placed in 24 hours!

Every month we bring you a fun Q&A session with someone we think you ought to know. This month we want to introduce you to hypnosis comedian Marc Savard. He can be seen starring in his own show weekly in Las Vegas at the V Theater inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood. We had a little fun with Marc and here is what he had to say.
What is your definition of hypnosis?
Natural state of consciousness that lies between the awakened state and the sleep state. Since it is a natural state, that means everyone can be hypnotized.
When did you say, "I want to learn hypnosis!"
I didn't. It kind of just happened by accident. I saw a show and it peaked my curiosity, so I learned hypnosis, my friends got hint of it and so I began hypnotizing them. The rest they say is history.
How do you learn hypnosis? Is there a school for it or a training course you take?
I trained in a school in Los Angeles that no longer exists and now I have my own training class that I offer once a year in Las Vegas for people wanting to do hypnosis as a career.
When you first started out doing shows was it difficult to get people "under" as they say?
No, hypnosis is the easy part; putting it into an entertaining format is where the challenge is.
Did you ever have a show where no one was hypnotized? What did you do? How did you continue?
No. In this day and age there is always someone who wants to volunteer and participate thanks to reality TV's 15 minutes of fame. Everyone wants their shot at it! It has never been an issue in my eighteen-year career thus far, but I suppose there is a first. I just hope my day is not coming soon.
What about hypnosis intrigues you?
I am a student of the mind, I am fascinated by human behavior, and what motivates people to do the things they do.
What is your favorite scenario to put people in during your show once they are hypnotized?
When I pretend to magically turn someone's belt into a snake, the reaction of the hypnotized participants is hilarious!
Is it harder to hypnotize people or to make people laugh (comedy)?
Comedy is definitely harder. From the audience perspective seeing one of their friends hypnotized is naturally funny so that helps.
If you could hypnotize one person dead or alive who would it be and why?
I prefer to keep them alive.
Who has been the most memorable person you have hypnotized and why are they so memorable?
I hypnotized a guy on stage to have jock itch every time I shook his hand. It turned out at random, a one in a million chance, his actual real name was Jock. We put footage of that clip on my website. That will never happen again. Ever.
If you had a different career what would you see yourself doing?
My Dad wanted me to take over the family structural steel welding and construction business; ummm, that's not gonna happen. So I'd probably choose medical school if I had to do something other than hypnosis.
